Indeed that is a problem as it greatly increases her power, but doesn't Tang San get 4 100,000 Year Rings and 4 150,000 Year Rings for his Haotian Hammer? Plus the Gold 1,000,000 Year one? Later in addition to the Asura God Ring... And the Blue Silver Emperor gets similar ones too...

Yup, I can't remember the exact ages but you've got it about right. There was never an Asura Ring from what I recall, although there should have been imo, like dark red. And his BSE rings get wrapped in blue-gold once he becomes Sea God I believe.

Right now, In her 1 Martial Soul, there are 2 Yellow, 2 Purple, 4 Black and 1 Red Soul Ring. But in her 2nd Martial Soul, there are 6 Black Rings and 1 Red Ring.

It is pretty impressive, I think TS couldn't do that by himself, or he'd have one hell of a time.

I’m not sure how I feel about this episode. For once I actually didn’t mind that they changed the way TS killed the whale king using his Tang Sect hidden weapons. In the novel, TS killed the whale king by pouring the Yin Yang Well Water into his blow hole. 😱 I know, it’s anti-climatic if you think of how brilliant TS’s tactical skills were, just before that.

What’s more Tang Sect skills and hidden weapons are the very foundation of this story. The author didn’t fully utilise the potential of what he set up in majority of the story. So now, the donghua took the liberty to let TS showcase his abilities rather than the “well water” is actually the right decision in their attempt to plug up deficiencies and plot holes of the novel.

However, the frequent focus on Bai Chenxiang was a bit underwhelming. First of all, that wasn’t even her test and they zoomed in on her at least 3 times if my memory serves me. I don’t recall Zhu Zhuqing getting that much of attention. Secondly, I’m missing the white tiger fusion of Mubai and ZZQ. That would have been even more epic.

I also find the battle scene a bit chaotic. It’s a bit hard to differentiate the sharks from the whales as they are both the same colour. They should have let the great white sharks stay greyish white instead of this dark grey.

As for the villains, I find the scene with Bibidong more captivating than her daughter’s. I like how they show the “hanging food” waiting to be devoured. 😝

IKR, I was like..wait a sec I don't remember him using a Tang Sect ability there, but I'll take it LOL. I have to agree about the chaos. Idk if my expectations were too high or what, but outside of TS & the Orca King, the battle came off as uncharacteristically clunky. Idk, maybe my eyes are getting spoiled by BTTH and Fanren lol, but whatever the reason there seemed to be a noticeable drop in animation quality.

She’s not married. Her daughter is the Angel chick. Her father the former pope raped BBD in order to pass on his angel lineage. After all BBD was one of the smartest and most powerful soul masters in their generation.

Maybe my explanation was not very clear. BBD is not the daughter of the pope. She’s his disciple. He raped her and she gave birth to the Angel chick, Qian Renxue but their relationship was never publicly announced. Even Hu Liena who is so close to BBD is not aware that QRX is bbd’s daughter.

The fight with the Demon Whale's were pretty badass, and it's a first seeing some of Tang San's new skills, although I'm utterly confused why he hasn't done the Soul Bone Fusion thing even once after the first time it appeared dozens of episodes ago😕

Also, as much as I love the OP of this, the ED is actually quite the romantic one, it helps get the feel of the romance and journey we've been through in the months we've been here😌 I started watching this when it only had 100+ episodes, so I'm feeling proud we're hitting 200 soon😋

He doesn’t have that soul bone fusion ability yet. What happened in the Forest was a precursor to a Soul Bone Fusion. He needs to have all the soul bones before this fusion could be realised. This is another example of how the author set up interesting skills only to abandon them completely for the rest of the story.

I did a double-take wtf too when I saw that lol. I'm pretty sure that's simply Bo Saixi explaining what happened in further detail--probably added it for filler. If they really made such a radical modification it would throw a huge monkey wrench into the plot lines.
